Brunch Pizza Squares

1 lb. pork sausage
1 (8 oz.) tube refrigerated crescent rolls
4 eggs
2 Tbsp. milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
3/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese

Cook sausage and drain. Unroll crescent rolls onto lightly greased 9x13x2 inch pan. Press dough up sides of pan about 1/2 inch and seal all seams. Sprinkle with sausage. In bowl, beat eggs, milk and pepper and pour over sausage. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until crust is brown and cheese melts. Makes 8 servings.
